Equipment Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering

What you will do

• Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Manage equipment form-factor conversion, setup, buyoff, installation, and setup propagation.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Troubleshoot major equipment issues and manage spare-parts purchasing and inventory.
• Train employees on new SOPs, including human behavior and machine operation.
• Apply PLC, CTC, C++, and Python programming for equipment troubleshooting while following OSHA safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in at least one industrial programming language: PLC, CTC, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and workplace health regulations.
• Good command of English required.
• Strong control-systems knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and perform preventive-maintenance activities.

Nice to have

• 2–3 years of hands-on equipment or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Certification in industrial automation or PLC programming.
• Experience leading continuous improvement or Lean/Six Sigma projects.
• CAD skills and programming experience with Python or C++.
• Understanding of AI infrastructure, including LLMs, machine learning, or agentic AI.
