Senior Manager, Accounting

Location: Brooklyn, NY, USA, with a planned relocation to Midtown Manhattan in summer 2027; candidates must be within commuting distance of the current and future offices.

Salary: $185,000–$215,000 USD annual base salary, with equity grants and a discretionary bonus or variable compensation plan depending on the role.

What you will do

• Lead and review the monthly accounting close, reconciliations, allocations, reporting, and data integrity processes.
• Administer NetSuite, including workflows, saved searches, reporting, upgrades, integrations, and module implementations.
• Embed AI solutions and software integrations into accounting workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Oversee procure-to-pay activities, including vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice processing, payments, approvals, and policy compliance.
• Support quote-to-cash operations by resolving billing discrepancies, integrating CRM, ERP, and billing systems, and maintaining billing configurations and access.
• Manage and develop the accounting team and coordinate internal and external audit requests, documentation, and timelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including preferably 2+ years in management or team leadership.
• Strong NetSuite proficiency; 3+ years and experience with report customization and saved searches are preferred.
• Experience leading monthly close processes and managing cross-functional stakeholders to meet close deadlines.
• Experience owning procure-to-pay workflows and administering a customer billing system.
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
