Associate Director, Fund Accounting - Private Markets

What you will do

• Manage client deliverables and coordinate with internal departments across multiple jurisdictions to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and review NAV calculations, audited and unaudited financial statements, partner capital statements, management fee calculations, drawdowns, distributions, and supporting workpapers.
• Serve as a daily client contact, respond professionally to requests, and develop ongoing client relationships.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and coordinate external audits and third-party reporting.
• Coordinate private markets services across Cash, Corporate Secretarial, Legal, AML, Risk & Controls, Implementations, and Sales.
• Implement processes and technology that improve controls, operating efficiency, and new business initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledgers, and financial statements within private markets.
• Experience with private markets, NAV calculations, capital activities, and fund administration.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Strong client service, communication, analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage internal and external deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a high-growth environment.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent; fully qualified preferred.

• Prior experience working in private equity or for a private markets fund manager.
