Accountant (Investment Fund)

Location: Jersey, Montreal, or Warsaw

What you will do

• Support day-to-day financial operations and collaborate with the broader finance department and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end closing, prepare balance sheet schedules, and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidated and stand-alone financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, and local reporting standards.
• Coordinate monthly NAV reports and related schedules with internal and external teams.
• Participate in finance projects and ad hoc requests from the controller and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of finance and accounting experience.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including US GAAP and IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial management systems, plus strong Excel and technology skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision across different time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with a proprietary trading firm, investment fund, or alternative investment firm.
• Pursuing or having finalist status in CPA, ACCA, CFA, or an equivalent accredited accounting qualification.
• Experience with Workday Financials.
