Software Engineer Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Design and ship orchestration systems that route, sequence, and supervise multi-agent workflows in real time.
• Build agent tooling, sandboxes, and evaluation loops for testing and validating outputs before production deployment.
• Contribute to Agent Manager, including guardrails, rollback paths, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Develop full-stack features for the agent platform, covering data models, APIs, and front-end tooling.
• Collaborate with customers to identify risks in automated agent improvement and turn edge cases into platform safeguards.

Requirements

• Comfort with Python, including asyncio and FastAPI, plus TypeScript, Node, and React.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals and distributed systems.
• Coursework, internship, or personal-project exposure to LLM APIs, evaluation frameworks, RAG, or agent frameworks such as LangChain or MCP.
• Evidence of shipping complete projects end to end through school, internships, or personal work.
• Interest in coordinating multi-step and multi-agent systems, including state, tool calls, and failure recovery.
• Availability for a 12-week internship starting between winter 2026 and summer 2027; earlier availability is preferred.
