Senior Product Manager (Healthcare Interoperability)

Salary: $143,000–$186,000 USD annual base compensation, plus a discretionary annual variable target incentive

What you will do

• Define and drive the multi-year roadmap for the healthcare interoperability engine and platforms from discovery through general availability.
• Translate HL7, FHIR, TEFCA, Da Vinci, CMS prior authorization, and other regulatory requirements into prioritized product features and delivery milestones.
• Lead enterprise customer discovery with IDNs, HIEs, payers, and life sciences organizations.
• Manage the product backlog, write PRDs and acceptance criteria, and guide cross-functional delivery teams.
• Develop the strategy for AI-native interoperability and track product KPIs, adoption data, customer feedback, and support signals.
• Represent the product with enterprise customers, at HL7 and HIMSS, and in related healthcare interoperability initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical product management experience in healthcare IT, focused on interoperability and integration engines.
• Working-level expertise in HL7 V2.x, FHIR R4, CDA/C-CDA, SMART on FHIR, OAuth 2.0, and X12 EDI.
• Experience with healthcare data transformations, EHR/EMR systems, health information exchanges, and TEFCA or QHIN workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with an enterprise integration engine such as hirify.global Health Connect, Ensemble, Rhapsody, or Mirth Connect.
• Ability to prototype FHIR API calls and inspect JSON/XML payloads using Python, Java, or similar programming experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, health informatics, or a related field; participation in HL7, Da Vinci, ONC FAST, or HIMSS initiatives is expected.
