Principal Product Owner / Architect (Healthcare AI)

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $172,200–$236,900 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Own and evolve a unified product roadmap and top-level backlog for shared platforms across Pharmacy, Primary Care Organization, Home Solutions, and hirify.global Military.
• Define reference architectures, integration standards, API contracts, domain boundaries, and reusable design patterns across healthcare segments.
• Lead discovery sessions, architecture reviews, governance checkpoints, risk reviews, and cross-segment prioritization.
• Translate product vision into delivery-ready specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, architectural constraints, and non-functional requirements.
• Guide data and interoperability strategy across Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks, including FHIR R4 and HL7 integrations.
• Shape generative and agentic AI solutions with human-in-the-loop controls, observability, evaluation, and healthcare compliance safeguards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience across product management, solution architecture, or both.
• 5+ years of solution architecture or senior product ownership experience in healthcare IT and regulated environments involving HIPAA/PHI and HITECH.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, Snowflake or Databricks patterns, API governance, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Experience with FHIR R4, HL7, reference architectures, architectural decision records, enterprise governance, Agile, and SAFe delivery models.
• Experience incorporating generative and agentic AI, including RAG, prompt engineering, LLM integration, orchestration, MLOps/LLMOps, and responsible AI controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmacy benefit management, military health and TRICARE, primary care and EMR integrations, or home health workflows.
• Knowledge of SMART on FHIR, ONC interoperability requirements, Azure Entra ID, data mesh, vector databases, MCP servers, and feature stores.
