Field Deployment Robotics Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; onsite five days a week

hirify.global develops in-house robotics and software to automate on-site construction and make building more autonomous.

What you will do

• Build walls with construction robots and work directly with robots at construction sites.
• Identify site topology issues, project-specific details, and new edge cases, then own solutions from design through coding, deployment, testing, and fleet rollout.
• Debug hardware and software failures on-site and develop structural fixes that improve robot behavior and performance.
• Capture broader construction-site and robotics opportunities and help shape new projects.
• Represent hirify.global and communicate with people on construction sites.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience solving complex engineering problems with code.
• Strong debugging, problem decomposition, and logical reasoning skills across hardware and software failure modes.
• Outcome-driven mindset, urgency, and ability to ship practical fixes quickly.
• Willingness to work hands-on at construction sites, frequently starting early and travelling to sites on time.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Comfort with basic mathematics, including linear algebra, and geometric reasoning.
• Prior robotics experience.
• British passport.
