Field Service Engineer (Flight Simulation)

Location: Onsite in Amsterdam, Netherlands; frequent travel of up to approximately 80% is required, including extended customer-site stays, weekends, and evenings.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for flight simulation and automotive test products.
• Perform hands-on maintenance, servicing, and overhauls of electro-mechanical and electrohydraulic systems.
• Diagnose complex technical problems and implement solutions independently or with multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Represent hirify.global at customer sites, provide customer-focused support, and build strong customer relationships.
• Support sales activities by identifying commercial opportunities and contributing to proposals.
• Organize service structures, documentation, configuration control, and technical support for the global installed base.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with an interest in measurement and control or automation, or MBO with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with software tools, service applications, and configuration databases.
• Ability to work with mechatronic systems and understand electro-mechanical and electrohydraulic technologies.
• Strong diagnostic, planning, organizing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work under machine-breakdown conditions.
• Ability to work onsite in Amsterdam and provide extended support, including weekends and evenings.
