Product Engineer - Member of Technical Staff (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for enterprise products, including system design, backend services, user-facing components, and APIs.
• Build and scale systems that enable customers to orchestrate thousands of generative agents, observe emergent behaviors, and derive actionable insights.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and customers to turn complex human-behavior simulations into usable interfaces.
• Develop reliable, performant, and scalable customer workflows for large-scale human-behavior modeling.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Balance long-term technical architecture with incremental shipping and feedback from real-world usage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience, excluding internships.
• Strong TypeScript and React skills.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Go, Rust, or Node.
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-growing environment with loosely defined tasks and competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder or early startup engineer who built and scaled a product from scratch.
• Deep interest in generative agents and foundation models.
• Experience building systems where reliability, safety, and performance are mission-critical.
