Senior Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; onsite in the office 5 days a week

What you will do

• Support the implementation of the enterprise and product governance, risk, and compliance program.
• Establish and maintain security policies and standards aligned with applicable industry frameworks.
• Assess the risk posture of systems and environments, including cloud-based and cloud-native technologies.
• Work with teams across the organization to implement security controls and provide compliance guidance.
• Oversee control assessments performed by external assessors.
• Continuously monitor control health, identify gaps, and support remediation.

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Japanese is required.
• 5+ years of experience in security compliance, governance, risk management, information assurance, or a related field.
• B.S./B.A. or higher in a related field and/or relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including ISMAP, IRAP, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, serverless technologies, operating systems, and cryptography.
• Ability to evaluate architectures and environments against compliance requirements, identify gaps, and work independently across multiple work streams.
