Senior Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, and IoT infrastructure.
• Integrate automated security scanning into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Monitor and remediate platform vulnerabilities and act as the technical security expert.
• Drive incident response from triage through remediation and post-incident review, using AI to improve security operations.
• Help secure the maritime AI platform and establish trustworthy, compliant-by-design production practices.
• Maintain security policies, interpret regulations, automate GRC evidence collection in Vanta, and support external audits.

Requirements

• Broad hands-on experience with software development, infrastructure, IoT, CI/CD, Kubernetes/EKS, and IaC/Terraform.
• Strong experience securing AWS cloud environments.
• Experience in information security spanning GRC and technical implementation.
• Understanding of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks and GDPR and NIS2 regulations.
• Experience or strong interest in AI security, including securing AI systems or applying AI to security operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders; CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or similar certification is relevant.
