Security Program Manager (Data Centres)

Location: Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan; travel across Japan and, as required, to other global locations.

What you will do

• Build security culture across Japan and designated locations by advising on operations, compliance, designs, and system reviews.
• Implement global, customer, and local security standards for data centres, corporate offices, property, and personnel.
• Document operational security requirements and develop security design standards for data centres and offices.
• Manage security guarding and security systems vendors, inspections, audits, commissioning, and testing.
• Project manage large-scale security upgrades and support threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments.
• Work with customers, vendors, suppliers, internal teams, and leadership to resolve incidents, contracts, RFPs, and security requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations and high-security facilities, preferably data centres.
• Bilingual Japanese and English communication skills required; English proficiency is key.
• Qualifications in security or a related field.
• Experience developing security operations plans and security system designs.
• Experience with internal and third-party security audits and inspections.
• Knowledge of risk management, threat and vulnerability assessments, Japan building-code security requirements, and relevant standards and regulations.
