TL;DR
Network Engineer (Palo Alto/Aruba): Architecting, deploying, and optimizing secure enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure for a global gaming technology business with an accent on firewall security, wireless and switching platforms, and high-capacity dark fiber solutions. Focus on designing scalable network architectures, troubleshooting complex performance issues, implementing compliance controls, and supporting incident response.
Location: Krakow, Poland. Candidates must be authorized to work in Poland without current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Architect, deploy, maintain, and optimize secure LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Develop policies, threat prevention controls, and VPN configurations for Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Manage Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure, including ClearPass and AirWave.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex incidents, and support incident response.
- Implement network security and compliance standards while maintaining detailed technical documentation.
- Support infrastructure projects, mentor junior engineers, participate in on-call rotation, and build dark fiber solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
- Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, subnetting, and secure network architecture.
- Experience with Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Authorization to work full-time in Poland without visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Python and Ansible for network automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud networking environments.
