What you will do
- Architect, deploy, maintain, and optimize secure LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Manage Palo Alto Networks firewall projects, including policies, threat prevention, and VPN configuration.
- Operate and optimize Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure, including ClearPass and AirWave.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot complex network issues, and support incident response.
- Implement network security and compliance standards while maintaining technical documentation.
- Support infrastructure projects, dark fiber solutions, on-call operations, and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
- Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, subnetting, and secure network architecture.
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with network automation and scripting using Python or Ansible.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud networking environments.
