VP, Operations - South Region (Data Centers)

Location: DFW01_02, United States; frequent travel between operational locations is required

What you will do

• Develop and execute the South Region operations strategy across multiple states, markets, and campuses.
• Oversee 24x7 facility operations, maintenance, infrastructure reliability, safety, security, incident management, and business continuity.
• Lead regional performance, risk mitigation, operating budgets, forecasting, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Coach and develop Senior Directors and regional operations leaders through succession planning, talent reviews, and performance management.
• Serve as an executive operational sponsor for strategic customers, escalations, service reviews, and customer deployments.
• Coordinate with Platform Delivery, Commissioning, Engineering, EHS, Security, Finance, Legal, and other functions to support growth and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, utility, or critical facility operations across multiple markets, sites, or geographically dispersed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience leading senior leaders and managing complex, large-scale operational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, electrical distribution, cooling, fire protection, and building management systems.
• Experience with operating budgets, workforce planning, forecasting, performance metrics, resource allocation, operational risk, incident management, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel approximately 35%–50% and respond to significant operational events outside normal business hours.
