Chief of Staff (AI)

Location: San Francisco HQ; in person 5 days a week, with one company-wide remote week per month

Salary: $300,000–$500,000 USD per year, plus equity and competitive benefits

What you will do

• Increase the effectiveness of the CEO and leadership team through high-volume operational and strategic support.
• Draft crisp internal and external communications and manage follow-ups.
• Coordinate recruiting, host events, plan offsites, and support fundraising activities.
• Drive cross-functional projects, including new customer outreach and goals planning.
• Represent the CEO and hirify.global internally and externally with sound judgment and discretion.
• Build technical intuition for AI and mechanistic interpretability to engage in product and research discussions.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce executive-ready materials.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Strong work ethic, high output, and ability to handle intensive workloads.
• Ability to learn quickly and absorb new information.
• Technical background and sufficient fluency to engage deeply with AI and product discussions.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, initiative, and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder or executive at a high-performing VC-backed startup at Series A or later.
• Experience in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
• Experience with interpretability techniques and tooling for AI models.
• Strong understanding of AI and mechanistic interpretability.
