Director, Product Design (AI Builder)

Location: United States; remote-first, with team members across the U.S. and Canada.

Salary: $244,600–$305,700 annually, plus a target 22.5% annual bonus and competitive equity.

What you will do

• Own the Registry experience end-to-end across hirify.global's web, native mobile, and broader product ecosystem.
• Set the 12–18 month design vision and strategy with product management and engineering peers.
• Establish standards for product quality, delight, accessibility, interaction design, and design systems.
• Use AI-native workflows to prototype, build, test, and ship production-quality interfaces.
• Plan and execute generative and evaluative research, connecting qualitative and quantitative evidence to product decisions.
• Hire, develop, retain, and organize a team of 3–4 product designers while partnering with cross-functional leaders.

Requirements

• Shipped consumer product design experience across web and native mobile.
• Strong product vision, strategic thinking, systems thinking, and communication skills.
• Hands-on ability to use AI tools for prototyping, exploration, iteration, and product development.
• Experience with user research, design metrics, accessibility, interaction patterns, and design systems.
• Experience hiring, developing, managing performance, and growing product designers.
• Ability to work as a peer builder with engineering, product management, analytics, marketing, and merchandising.
