What you will do

• Design high-speed networking and communication architectures for AI inference infrastructure spanning servers, racks, and chips.
• Develop chip-to-chip interconnects and switched fabrics for AI/ML scale-out systems.
• Analyze trade-offs across bandwidth, latency, power, area, scalability, and reliability.
• Evaluate and specify architectures using PCIe, CXL, co-packaged optics, UALink, Ultra Ethernet, Ethernet, NVLink, and serial links.
• Participate in industry standards bodies and contribute to interconnect specifications.
• Collaborate with SoC, package design, and software teams on system integration.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience developing interconnect technologies, transport and link-level protocols, switching fabrics, QoS, reliable communication methods, and Software Defined Networking.
• Working knowledge of Fat Tree, Leaf-Spine/Clos, Torus, and mesh fabric topologies and their application to different workloads and system configurations.
• Familiarity with GPU and accelerator clusters and data center infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of PCIe, CXL, NVLink, UALink, Ethernet, Ultra Ethernet, and serial-link protocols.
• Ability to develop performance models and simulations.
