Technician III- Failure Analysis - Initial analysis (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; on-site laboratory work. U.S. export controls require proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status.

What you will do

• Perform preliminary failure analysis on semiconductor devices using optical inspection, electrical testing, and basic non-destructive analysis.
• Operate microscopes, curve tracers, X-ray machines, and other laboratory diagnostic equipment.
• Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate analysis records.
• Provide timely initial analysis data to engineering teams supporting root-cause investigations and product issue resolution.
• Maintain laboratory safety standards and handle sensitive materials properly.
• Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or technical diploma in electronics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a related laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with laboratory diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export-control requirements.
