Software Engineer (Space Simulation)

Location: Hybrid in Tukwila, Washington; must be a U.S. person

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year, plus 0.01%–0.05% equity

What you will do

• Build space environment simulation software and infrastructure for autonomous spacecraft operations.
• Develop simulation environments for rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting autonomous software refinement.
• Automate simulation analysis and related engineering workflows.
• Support integrations with satellite compute hardware.

Requirements

• U.S. person status required: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required ITAR authorizations.
• Willingness to work from Tukwila, Washington in a hybrid setup.
• Software development education or professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of Python and C++.
• Experience with numerical simulations and a B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field.
