What you will do

  • Develop synthetic aperture radar algorithms for high-quality 3D data products using tomography, interferometry, radargrammetry, and computer vision techniques.
  • Implement and deploy efficient algorithms in a cloud-based image production pipeline.
  • Create tools to predict 3D reconstruction performance from image collection geometry.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to translate customer use cases into system requirements.
  • Generate test plans and validation methods to ensure product quality and meet end-user expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAR digital signal processing and algorithm development.
  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, self-direction, and personal accountability.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree focused on radar image formation.
  • Experience with SAR image formation, collection modes, motion compensation, interferogram processing, and multi-baseline or crossing-node interferometry.
  • Experience deploying radar algorithms into production pipelines.
  • Familiarity with version control, code review, continuous integration, tomographic SAR, and multidimensional inverse SAR optimization.
