Payment Tech - Business System Analyst - Sr (GCP)

What you will do

• Analyze business issues, recommend solutions, and define requirements with business users and IT project teams.
• Develop use cases, user stories, functional scope, data flows, and system flows for medium- to complex-scope initiatives.
• Support a payment product built on GCP, including solution analysis, API and external file transfer requirements, and team delivery activities.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Product Owners, development teams, and impacted teams on estimates, dependencies, timelines, and delivery.
• Improve application reliability, minimize risk, and support remediation of compliance vulnerabilities and production incidents.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and maintain Evergreen documentation.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in business analysis for product or software development.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience eliciting requirements and producing functional specifications, use cases, user stories, business process flows, data flows, and storyboards.
• Knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure; experience with APIs or external file transfers and front-end web application development.
• Experience with Agile or iterative delivery, detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, and Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Card product and processing, expense management, or financial services experience.
• CBAP certification.
• Knowledge of IT architecture.
