Sr. Business Analyst (Intelligent Automation)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Hybrid workplace model requiring at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, document, validate, prioritize, and trace business requirements for intelligent automation initiatives.
• Analyze current-state processes and define future-state processes optimized for automation.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements discussions with business, process, and technology stakeholders.
• Create process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, functional documentation, and business-case inputs.
• Partner with architects, developers, automation engineers, and QA teams to support solution delivery and testing.
• Support governance, change management, training documentation, user readiness, stakeholder feedback, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, technology delivery, or related roles.
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, prioritization, traceability, and change management.
• Experience mapping and improving business processes using tools such as Visio, BPMN, Lucidchart, or similar.
• Working knowledge of RPA, workflow automation, AI-enabled automation, process automation platforms, SDLC concepts, integrations, data flows, and APIs.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery environments, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar automation platforms.
• CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent business analysis certification.
• Experience supporting user adoption, training materials, communication plans, or change readiness activities.
• Training or certification in intelligent automation, Agile methodologies, or project management.
