TL;DR

What you will do

  • Deploy, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot unmanned aerial, ground, and surface systems in field operations.
  • Perform real-time software integration and modifications using ArduPilot, Betaflight, PX4, and other flight-control systems.
  • Diagnose hardware, firmware, software, networking, telemetry, and communications issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate performance and implement field-driven improvements.
  • Write and modify Python and C++ scripts and software for mission-specific automation and control.
  • Integrate automation algorithms and MAVLink protocols into live systems and maintain detailed configuration and field documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing, building, integrating, and deploying unmanned systems.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and tuning flight controllers such as ArduPilot and PX4, and using MAVLink in real-world applications.
  • Strong embedded development and automation programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Strong understanding of embedded Linux, Linux networking, command-line administration, VPNs, firewalls, and secure remote access.
  • Experience with RF communications, telemetry, sensor integration, IP networking, microcontrollers, SoCs, Raspberry Pi, and interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO.
  • Willingness to travel and support field demonstrations, expected 40%.

Nice to have

  • Experience with unmanned systems, robotics, or multi-agent coordination systems.
  • Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field; equivalent field experience is accepted.
  • RF engineering or IoT communication protocol experience.
