What you will do

  • Co-lead end-to-end development of ultra-low-power wireless devices from architecture through high-volume production.
  • Write and optimize production-ready C code for embedded systems running TI-RTOS and Zephyr RTOS.
  • Architect, implement, and refine a proprietary sub-GHz wireless protocol while evaluating technical tradeoffs.
  • Apply mathematics and physics to power accounting and systems-of-systems optimization in resource-constrained environments.
  • Design HIL/SIL testing frameworks, validate fail-safe embedded code, and support V&V handoff.
  • Perform board bring-up, system debugging, workflow automation, and cross-disciplinary hardware/software integration.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of embedded software development experience with deep expertise in C and real-time operating systems, including TI-RTOS or Zephyr RTOS.
  • Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent exceptional experience.
  • Experience delivering production-grade code with rigorous HIL/SIL testing.
  • Strong systems-level thinking, mathematics, and physics fundamentals for ultra-low-power wireless design.
  • Proficiency with Git, Python, Bash, and Linux.
  • Clear communication, mentoring, complex problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium.
  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.15.4, BLE, 900MHz, or other ultra-low-power wireless protocols.
  • Familiarity with RF design, compliance testing, spreadsheets for power budgeting and system modeling, and manufacturing support.
  • Experience with AI-assisted testing systems, startups, overseas vendors, mentoring junior engineers, or cross-functional leadership.
  • Personal projects demonstrating initiative and technical depth.
