TN Licensed 1099 Mental Health Therapist

Location: Fully remote within the United States. Therapy hours of operation are 8am to 3am ET, seven days a week.

Compensation: $77 per completed 60-minute intake session, $58 per completed 45-minute follow-up session, $30 per no-show appointment, and $60 per hour for monthly training and all-hands meetings.

What you will do

• Provide virtual therapy to college students using evidence-based interventions, including MI, CBT, ACT, and DBT.
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning.
• Connect with students through the collaboration portal and coordinate care with campus providers, supervisors, and peers.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of clinical interactions.
• Identify and manage escalating risk scenarios, collaborating with leadership during critical patient situations.
• Partner with administrative support to improve outreach, resource provision, and overall student care.

Requirements

• Active independent clinical licensure in Tennessee, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC.
• Ability to provide thorough biopsychosocial intakes and clear diagnostic assessments.
• Ability to create appropriate treatment plans and treat a diverse student population with respect and understanding.
• Ability to identify and manage escalating clinical risks.
• Reliable computer with a quality video camera and stable internet connection.
• Availability for at least 8 hours per week during the academic year, with at least 4 evening or weekend hours preferred.
