Sales Support Specialist (Freight Forwarding)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, maintain, and validate freight rates from carriers, co-loaders, suppliers, and commercial partners.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations by calculating freight, surcharges, duties, and other end-to-end logistics costs.
• Support the sales team with tailored pricing solutions, rate strategy recommendations, cost breakdowns, and service options.
• Coordinate quotation-related inquiries and provide timely, clear communication to support the customer experience.
• Coordinate with carriers and partners to validate rates, clarify terms, maintain commercial agreements, and support renegotiations based on market trends and volume opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, or brokerage, either locally or internationally.
• Strong understanding of shipping documents, including BOLs, AWBs, packing lists, and invoices.
• Proven experience in rate sourcing, cost computation, and quotation building.
• Familiarity with freight pricing components, including freight charges, surcharges, duties, and other logistics costs.
• Comfort using TMS platforms such as CargoWise or Magaya.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to validate and analyze data rather than only encode it.
• Graduate of Customs Administration or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills at C1 level.
• Fiber internet with a recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps, plus backup internet through a mobile hotspot or secondary ISP capable of at least 20 Mbps.
• Quiet, conducive home workspace.
