Salary: $117,922–$176,833 per year; the range is specific to Washington State.

What you will do

  • Manage complex subcontracts from pre-award through closeout, including performance, change control, quality, cost, schedule, and delivery.
  • Lead sourcing, bidding, cost and price analysis, procurement summaries, and basis-of-award documentation.
  • Drive strategic sourcing for first-of-a-kind major equipment and CAPEX procurements while developing a qualified supplier base.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, schedules, and delivery commitments with suppliers; issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain, technical, intellectual property, and supplier performance risks.
  • Maintain procurement records, review invoices and discrepancies, generate reports, and support management decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement or subcontract management.
  • Experience executing subcontracts under FAR and/or 2 CFR 200 Procurement Standards, including flexibly priced subcontracts.
  • Solid understanding of federal cost principles and experience handling export-controlled information.
  • Experience using ERP systems for procurement and contract administration.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, organization, collaboration, and independent decision-making skills.

Nice to have

  • Nuclear industry experience.
  • Technical or subject-matter experience related to engineered equipment, components, design/build/delivery work, or construction under quality assurance requirements.
  • Experience implementing interface and procurement strategies.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
