TL;DR
Senior Solutions Engineer - EMEA (Aerospace): Designing and presenting technical solutions for government, defense, aerospace, and commercial space customers across the customer lifecycle with an accent on Space Domain Awareness, proposals, demonstrations, and mission-focused solution design. Focus on translating operational requirements into APIs, analytics, and data-product solutions, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting complex European procurements.
Location: Remote, with candidates required to be located in Spain or Italy. Travel up to 40% throughout Europe and occasionally internationally.

What you will do
- Partner with Business Development and Account Executives to shape strategic opportunities across government, defense, civil, and commercial markets.
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, workshops, evaluations, and customer engagements.
- Develop proposals, white papers, Statements of Work, and responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and competitive tenders.
- Design solutions using ' platform, APIs, analytics, and data products.
- Coordinate technical inputs across Engineering, Product, Operations, Security, and leadership teams.
- Translate customer missions and requirements into operational value and provide feedback to product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Space Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Capture Management, Technical Business Development, Systems Engineering, or Technical Program Management.
- Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, intelligence, or commercial technology customers.
- Experience with competitive procurements, proposal development, technical evaluations, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and Statements of Work.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and location in Spain or Italy are required.
Nice to have
- Experience in commercial space, satellite, aerospace, intelligence, or defense sectors.
- Knowledge of Space Domain Awareness, Space Situational Awareness, orbital mechanics, satellite operations, or space mission planning.
- Experience with European Ministries of Defence, NATO organizations, defense primes, or government agencies.
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud technologies, Python, SQL, or modern software architectures.
- Spanish, Italian, French, or German language skills.
