Firmware Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain tests for firmware features and functionality.
• Analyze application workloads, bus analyzer traces, and firmware specifications to define test requirements.
• Implement, debug, and enhance firmware test code and support the existing codebase.
• Assist with firmware development, testing, and debugging for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with Firmware, Validation, and Applications engineers across local and US-based teams.
• Document firmware designs and test procedures while contributing to code reviews and performance analysis.

Requirements

• Experience or foundational knowledge in firmware development, testing, and debugging.
• Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to work with version control, code reviews, documentation, and firmware performance analysis.
• Ability to work from the KL COE Office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
