Graduate Engineer – FPGA HPS USB Post-Silicon Validation

Location: Penang 15, Penang, Malaysia

Development of next-generation FPGA SoC devices, including HPS USB subsystems.

What you will do

• Execute validation plans for USB Host, Device, and OTG functionality.
• Perform silicon bring-up and hardware debugging on development platforms.
• Run manual and automated tests covering USB functionality, performance, and interoperability.
• Collect, analyze, and document validation results and debugging findings.
• Reproduce, isolate, and track hardware and software issues in collaboration with firmware, design, software, and platform teams.
• Develop test automation and maintain validation procedures and regression reports using Python, TCL, or similar scripting languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong academic foundation in digital design, computer architecture, embedded systems, or electronics.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, C/C++, TCL, or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
• Good debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a hands-on laboratory environment.
