TL;DR
Product Manager (Catalogue) (E-commerce and Compliance): Defining and executing a product roadmap for catalogue systems that balances commercial growth with compliance, risk management, and quality control. What you will do
- Define and maintain the Catalogue product roadmap in partnership with the Product Lead.
- Analyse business processes, systems, benchmarks, and relevant metrics to identify and prioritise roadmap initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical user stories and phased project specifications.
- Lead technical projects through the full product development lifecycle, from design and scheduling to launch and production release.
- Manage stakeholder communications, engineering backlog prioritisation, and sprint planning.
- Balance commercial growth with compliance, risk management, quality control, scalability, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, at least 7 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role without the relevant degree.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and proficiency in SQL for obtaining and analysing data.
- Strong technical understanding of software development processes, project management, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Experience with system scalability and automation projects, plus the ability to balance rapid growth with compliance and quality controls.
- Experience in an agile or iterative development environment is beneficial.
