Product Manager (Data)

What you will do

• Define a holistic data strategy and prioritised product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify high-impact data opportunities and balance long-term vision with incremental delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and data scientists to develop and launch data products.
• Support build-versus-buy decisions by balancing cost, speed to market, and strategic fit.
• Manage the data product lifecycle from concept through launch, feedback, and subsequent iterations.
• Advocate for data governance, quality, compliance, and metrics that measure product success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, ideally in e-commerce or a data-centric organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build consensus across complex organisational structures.
• Experience working with technical teams and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strategic, analytical, pragmatic, and decisive approach to balancing business needs with technical feasibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high accountability for delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering and iterating data products at scale.
• Proficiency with agile methods and tools for timeline-sensitive project management.
