Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Remote from any location; company headquarters in Palo Alto, California, with an R&D center in Israel

What you will do

• Build and train robust, interactive machine learning applications for the next-generation AI platform.
• Develop novel learning algorithms and machine learning systems.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, engineers, and data scientists across global teams.
• Apply mathematical, analytical, and quantitative problem-solving methods to AI product development.
• Visualize data and present core insights clearly to technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Rapidly prototype and contribute in an agile development environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining.
• Proven experience developing novel learning algorithms or systems.
• Experience with machine or deep learning packages such as TensorFlow, MXNet, SparkML, or R.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, quantitative problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to visualize data, communicate insights clearly, multitask, and work creatively.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack JavaScript web application development.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, data warehouses, Kafka, and other data stack applications.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and tools such as Tableau.
