Agent Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; on-site, 5 days per week in the office

Base salary: $200,000–$400,000 per year; equity and annual performance-based bonuses offered

What you will do

• Architect and ship AI products for large financial institutions, taking products from 0 to 1.
• Build evaluation and observability capabilities for AI agents.
• Design multi-agent orchestration and durable graph-based workflow execution.
• Apply context engineering to create reliable, production-grade agent systems.
• Work across research, engineering, and product while collaborating with leadership, engineers, and customers.
• Own outcomes and deliver software on short timelines in high-stakes financial environments.

Requirements

• Experience with AI development techniques and frameworks.
• Experience building or working with distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Ability to work across prompt-level implementation and system-level architecture.
• Strong ownership, autonomy, collaboration, and communication skills.
