What you will do
- Architect, install, configure, and maintain production and non-production systems for enterprise application delivery and security platforms.
- Administer and optimize GitHub Enterprise, Jira, CloudBees Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Support software supply chain security tools including Nexus IQ Firewall, JFrog Xray, and GitHub Advanced Security.
- Design automation and infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, long-term remediation, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring of junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or systems administration in enterprise environments.
- Expert-level Linux/Unix systems administration experience in production environments.
- Hands-on administration of GitHub/GitHub Enterprise, Jira, CloudBees Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Experience with application security, software composition analysis, SOC/SOX compliance, automation, infrastructure-as-code, Python or Bash, networking, Kubernetes, Docker, and observability tools.
- Availability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and troubleshoot complex cross-platform production issues.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise platform engineering, developer productivity, secure CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
- Familiarity with LDAP, SSO, RBAC, OpenStack, VMware, vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.
