TL;DR
Operations Analyst (Energy Efficiency): Supporting complex energy-efficiency client programs through project scheduling, documentation management, reporting, and data analysis with an accent on Excel-based tracking, property eligibility, and rebate estimates. Focus on maintaining data quality, evaluating energy-efficiency measures, coordinating inspections and teams, and improving program processes.

Location: Austin, Texas, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.

Salary: $52,000–$74,400 per year.

What you will do

  • Schedule and track projects for technicians, auditors, account managers, energy advisors, and program staff.
  • Maintain accurate program paperwork, project documentation, correspondence, and records across repositories.
  • Produce project- and program-level reports and export operational metrics while ensuring contract compliance.
  • Manage program data, perform complex analysis and data entry, and maintain overall data quality.
  • Determine property eligibility using code enforcement data, appraisal records, unit directories, and other sources.
  • Coordinate inspections, meetings, staff communications, special projects, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, plus Adobe Acrobat.
  • Advanced Excel and mathematical skills, including complex formulas, calculations, pivot charts, graphs, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, and multi-source analysis.
  • Understanding of EM&V processes, energy-efficiency measure eligibility, program evaluation metrics, and revenue-related risks.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support. Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks and meet applicable DOT requirements if required.

Nice to have

  • Project or program management certification, such as PMP, or equivalent formal training.
  • Experience in energy efficiency, utilities, or comparable service-based programs.
