Supply Chain Manager (Photonics)

What you will do

• Lead sourcing strategy and end-to-end supply chain management for lasers, photonic integrated circuits, photodetectors, and fiber array units.
• Translate forecasts and build plans into supplier capacity requirements, allocation requests, and supply plans.
• Qualify suppliers with engineering and quality teams through technical audits, sample evaluation, and process capability reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, capacity commitments, and supply agreements while managing supplier relationships across Asia and other global regions.
• Identify and mitigate allocation, single-source, geopolitical, export-control, and capacity risks.
• Partner with engineering, operations, program management, and contract manufacturers on specifications, alternate parts, and second-source enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, supply chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management.
• Experience negotiating supply agreements and managing suppliers across Asia and other global regions.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Technical grounding in optics or photonics sufficient to evaluate supplier capabilities and reduce single-source dependencies.
