Vice President, Global Supply Chain Planning (Semiconductor)

Location: San Jose, California, USA; full-time, onsite role.

Develops optical and photonic technologies, including high-speed transceivers and Optical Circuit Switches, for AI, cloud, telecommunications, industrial, and sensing applications, with R&D, manufacturing, and sales operations worldwide.

What you will do

• Design and coordinate end-to-end material flows linking front-end wafer fabrication with back-end assembly, test, and packaging across international manufacturing nodes.
• Establish governance for critical-material visibility, multi-location inventory pools, safety stock, minimum and maximum levels, and excess-and-obsolete inventory control.
• Model global constrained capacity, balance product routing and workloads across sites, and optimize equipment effectiveness, labor scaling, and external foundry and OSAT capacity.
• Lead monthly executive S&OP/SIOP reviews, reconcile cloud and hyperscaler demand forecasts with operational limits, and present scenario options to the executive leadership team.
• Align capacity plans with finance, procurement, logistics, fab, and factory leaders to protect margins, optimize cash flow, and guide global CapEx decisions.
• Lead the enterprise planning technology roadmap and enforce master-data, yield-model, and planning-BOM governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain or operational environments, including at least 5 years driving corporate S&OP/IBP transformations.
• Proven success managing complex, cross-continental planning networks across multiple international facilities in North America and Asia.
• Substantial high-tech experience spanning front-end semiconductor fabrication and back-end module integration.
• Deep governance experience with leading advanced planning systems and enterprise software such as SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain or Oracle Cloud SCM.
• Exceptional presentation and persuasion skills, with experience building matrixed consensus across executive peer groups.

• MBA or MS in an analytical discipline.
• Active ASCM/APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
