I.P. - Technology Transactions Group, Associate

Location: Hybrid role based in Silicon Valley, Boston, New York, San Francisco, or Santa Monica; candidates must be barred in the state of the selected office or eligible to sit for or waive into the next bar exam.

Salary: $260,000–$390,000 annually, plus a discretionary performance-based bonus may be available.

What you will do

• Support complex and innovative technology transactions for prominent technology, digital media, consumer technology, and startup companies.
• Advise earlier-stage and later-stage or public technology companies on complex commercial transactions.
• Analyze and advise on intellectual property and commercial issues in M&A and other corporate transactions.
• Collaborate closely with the Corporate Group on technology and life sciences matters.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a law firm associate.
• Substantial law firm experience with a deep understanding of intellectual property and contract law.
• Experience handling complex commercial transactions of various types for technology companies at different stages.
• Admission to the bar in the state of the selected office, or eligibility to sit for or waive into the next bar exam.
• Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
