Supplier Quality Engineer (Photonics)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end quality relationships with component suppliers from requirement definition to performance governance.
• Define and maintain supplier quality agreements, control plans, and acceptance test criteria.
• Lead supplier qualification audits and drive first-article approval workflows.
• Evaluate manufacturing process capability and reliability data for new and existing partners.
• Own supplier scorecards and maintain real-time quality dashboards for yield and return rates.
• Lead 8D/DMAIC corrective action processes for supplier escapes and field failures.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore (Onsite role)
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Materials Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supplier quality or component engineering within photonics, semiconductors, or high-speed electronics.
• Hands-on experience with active optical components such as lasers, detectors, drivers, and TIAs.
• Proficiency in quality methods including FMEA, SPC, 8D, MSA, GR&R, and PPAP/AQP.
• Demonstrated experience conducting supplier audits (ISO 9001, TS16949 or equivalent).
