Manufacturing Project Manager (Additive Manufacturing): Planning and delivering additive manufacturing programs from order intake through production completion with an accent on production scheduling, customer commitments, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on managing program financials, recovering schedules, coordinating manufacturing operations across Fremont and Livermore, and ensuring contract and quality compliance.

Location: On-site in Fremont, California, with regular travel between the Fremont and Livermore facilities

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

  • Plan, execute, and deliver additive manufacturing programs from order intake through production completion.
  • Define program scope, milestones, deliverables, and detailed production schedules.
  • Coordinate engineering, production, quality, supply chain, vendors, fulfillment, logistics, finance, and contracts.
  • Monitor manufacturing builds and post-processing operations, driving schedule recovery plans when required.
  • Manage customer communications, program reviews, gate reviews, contractual commitments, and specification compliance.
  • Own program budgets, cost performance, forecasts, KPIs, governance, risk mitigation, and reporting.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required because the role supports U.S. government contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or high-tech environments.
  • Experience managing complex production schedules and customer-facing programs.
  • Understanding of contract management, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
  • Mechanical or industrial engineering background, with manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience in additive manufacturing or advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as MS Project and ERP/MRP systems.
