Virtual Specialized Education Instructor (Special Education)

Location: United States; virtual instruction for K–12 students nationwide. Availability is required during traditional school hours, Monday–Friday, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.

What you will do

• Provide legally compliant specially designed instruction and compensatory education services for students with active IEPs.
• Develop and deliver individualized, data-driven lessons in literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, organizational strategies, and functional life skills.
• Create, manage, and monitor student IEPs, including case management responsibilities.
• Coordinate schedules and instructional approaches with teachers, parents, students, and other IEP team members.
• Administer screenings, monitor progress, and complete formal outcome assessments.

Requirements

• Active special education teaching license or certification required.
• School-based experience delivering specially designed instruction to diverse student populations.
• Experience in resource/inclusion settings with mild to moderate disabilities or self-contained classrooms with profound or severe disabilities.
• Strong collaborative communication skills for working with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students.
• Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms and instructional technology.
• Dedicated private workspace, secure high-speed internet, reliable computer, and webcam required.
