Process Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Define data-quality metrics including accuracy, consistency, and first-pass yield.
• Establish and publish versioned acceptance standards and defect taxonomies.
• Build and manage the review pipeline, audit processes, and escalation workflows.
• Engineer standardized collection workflows to ensure consistency across global sites.
• Translate model requirements into clear, actionable acceptance criteria for the floor.
• Analyze quality data to drive rapid feedback loops and operator behavior improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Bay Area for on-site work.
• 5-10 years of experience leading data, quality, or operational teams in robotics, embodied AI, or high-scale labeling operations.
• Proven track record of building quality functions and acceptance standards from scratch.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ability to maintain high quality standards while ensuring operational efficiency.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python.
• Experience with robotics, autonomy, or sensor-derived data.
