Senior Architect - German Speaking (Guidewire)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical architecture across complex customer programs and portfolios.
• Lead discovery and design workshops and translate customer business and technical needs into scalable hirify.global solutions.
• Architect solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and hirify.global Cloud Platform, including interfaces, business rules, workflows, and entity models.
• Define reusable design patterns aligned with maintainability, performance, security, cloud, and data requirements.
• Lead architectural governance, design reviews, risk mitigation, and troubleshooting of complex systemic issues.
• Advise customer executives and architecture teams, support pre-sales, collaborate with Product, R&D, and Cloud teams, and mentor architects and developers.

Requirements

• German-speaking professional communication ability.
• Enterprise software architecture experience with relevant delivery leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in hirify.global or similar platforms, particularly PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Strong command of Java, Gosu, REST APIs, cloud-native architecture, Agile delivery, and hybrid cloud implementation strategies.
• Experience with architectural governance, design and code reviews, multi-workstream or multi-region solutions, and translating business needs into technology strategies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Multiple hirify.global certifications, including Cloud or Architect credentials.
• Experience with multi-region or multi-vendor delivery, digital transformation, or cloud migration programs.
• Knowledge of insurance enterprise systems, security, compliance, performance architecture, DevOps, and cloud automation.
• Contributions to internal frameworks, accelerators, playbooks, or reusable architecture assets.
