Senior Associate; Hedge Fund Accounting (East Coast Region)

Location: Hybrid work in NYC, Union, NJ, or Boston, MA

What you will do

• Reconcile cash balances, investment positions, and market values daily.
• Process trades and review daily and monthly financial results.
• Gather, process, and validate corporate actions and significant price changes using independent sources.
• Review accruals and expenses and calculate and record fees.
• Work with investment managers and prime brokers to resolve questions and reconciliation differences.
• Liaise with fund auditors and tax preparers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or financial services.
• Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Hedge fund accounting experience.
• Master’s degree, CPA, or CFA.
