Senior Equipment Engineer – Electrochemical Plating (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead plating equipment activities during setup of the Black FabONE semiconductor fabrication facility.
• Define infrastructure requirements for chemical handling, plating bath systems, and safety compliance.
• Select and technically evaluate plating tools while managing equipment vendors.
• Drive tool installation, bring-up, and process qualification.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Prepare operating and safety documentation and train users.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with electrochemical plating equipment in a semiconductor fab.
• Hands-on experience with new tool installations, fab ramp-up, or expansion projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrochemical deposition, bath chemistry, metal deposition uniformity, and plating cell hardware design.
• Experience with chemical delivery and return systems and safety and environmental protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in cleanroom environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
