Principal / Senior Engineer, Product Engineering, Technical Operations Management (Automotive Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Lead automotive semiconductor products from tape-out through qualification, release, production ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Drive engineering builds, product characterization, electrical validation, pilot production, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Collaborate with Design, Test, Reliability, Quality, Foundry, and OSAT teams on product industrialization and production transfer.
• Own product lifecycle management, including yield improvement, quality enhancement, cost optimization, engineering changes, and technical disposition of non-conforming materials.
• Lead ATE test program correlation, qualification, optimization, multisite deployment, test-time reduction, and test-coverage improvement.
• Provide manufacturing support for RFQs, customer engagements, product cost modeling, technical feasibility assessments, complaint investigations, and 8D corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IC Design, Device Physics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor industry experience for Senior Engineer or 8 years for Principal Engineer in Product, Test, Yield, or Reliability Engineering.
• Experience with fabless semiconductor product development and manufacturing partners, including Foundry and OSAT organizations.
• Knowledge of IC functionality, electrical specifications, system applications, product performance requirements, and semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills for work across global and multicultural teams.
• Experience with ATE test programs, preferably on Advantest platforms, statistical yield and manufacturing analysis, semiconductor failure analysis, and automotive reliability requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AEC-Q100, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, IATF 16949, and ISO 26262.
• Experience with advanced screening and data analytics methods such as PAT, SBL, clustering analysis, and statistical screening.
