Training Coordinator (Coffee)

Location: New York City, US; frequent travel to stores across New York, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and other markets.

Salary: $70,000 annual base salary, plus equity, healthcare benefits, paid time off, and other perks.

What you will do

• Oversee, validate, and track barista progression through the new-hire training program.
• Lead group orientations, in-store training, and final barista assessments.
• Conduct shift lead training certifications and support new product launches and key initiatives.
• Track training completion, accreditation velocity, daily store performance, and compliance across multiple platforms.
• Conduct quarterly product quality assessments across Boston, DC, and NYC stores and create actionable performance reports.
• Build cross-functional relationships and foster an engaging learning culture across field teams.

Requirements

• Coffee knowledge and expertise.
• Experience training within an established brand.
• Ability to create detailed training content and action plans.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• Full-time availability: 50 hours per week across 5 days, including flexibility outside store operating hours and on weekends.
